- Under the STP system your payroll process is required to be electronically sent to the ATO, whether it is completed weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
- Employers with less than 4 employees will have lodgement concessions available.

Your bookkeeping software will have the ability to run the STP and
ensure the transition is as smooth as possible for employers.
If you are not currently using an accounting software for your payroll –
the ATO will make some low cost options available.
