DFK Benjamin King Money is dedicated to upholding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in all aspects of our operations.
We continuously strive to ensure our business operations are contributing to the preservation of the planet. We strongly believe it is important to reduce our Carbon Footprint, and we aim to achieve that by utilizing the below office-wide initiatives:
RECYCLING
We ensure sure all staff are recycling their waste including cans, bottles, cardboard and plastic. We also recycle Used batteries at our local Officeworks.
LIGHTING
Our office implements the use of LED lighting on both of our floors, which uses 75% less energy than halogen light bulbs and last up to 10 times longer.
PRINTING
We ensure safe and sustainable disposal of toner cartridges. We use recycled paper for printing and securely dispose of any paper waste through an offsite disposal service.
COFFEE GROUNDS
Staff and clients enjoy coffee, resulting in coffee ground waste. To promote sustainability, some staff members take the grounds home for use in their garden beds.
INDOOR PLANTS
To increase natural airflow and clean oxygen in our office, we have introduced a number of plants throughout our office on both floors.
ELECTRONIC DELIVERY
We utilise secure electronic delivery services DocuSign and FuseSign to send documents to clients and store digital copies in our database, significantly reducing paper usage at DFK BKM in recent years.
Waste Recycling Certificate
At DFK Benjamin King Money, we always ensure that our e-waste is disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, and are proud to be awarded a certificate of recognition by the SPC Ecycle E-Waste Recycling Company.
